Since 1978, Mammoth Hospital has provided high quality medical care to visitors and residents of Mono and Inyo counties. Mammoth Hospital is a modern, 17-bed facility, designated by the federal government as a Critical Access Hospital, supported by first-rate equipment. We pride ourselves on personalized care; we boast of our full-time board certified medical staff and highly qualified nursing staff throughout the hospital and 12 out-patient primary care and specialty clinics. Since illness and injury don't always occur between the hours of eight and five, Mammoth Hospital is always prepared to meet your health care needs with 24-hour emergency care. Mammoth Mountain Community Foundation (MMCF) brings people who love Mammoth together for our kids. We fund educational and athletic programs and facilities, and host events that celebrate the spirit of Mammoth. Mammoth Mountain is MMCF's primary sponsor, contributing $250,000 per year to education programs that benefit students at Mammoth Unified School District. Mammoth Mountain guests and passholders can contribute to MMCF through optional $1 or $5 donations added to hotel stays and season pass sales. The U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association (USSA) is the national governing body of Olympic skiing and snowboarding. It is the parent organization of the U.S. Ski Team, U.S. Snowboarding and U.S. Freeskiing. Developed to facilitate participation in national and international competition, the Olympic sports organization provides structure for competitive skiing and snowboarding. From grassroots programs to governance of sport, management of rules, competitions and athletic rankings, the USSA oversees athletic pipelines for development in the sports. The USSA, established in 1905, operates out of the national training and education facility, the Center of Excellence, in Park City, UT.
